Each team plays 14 group stage matches. Points: 2 for win, 1 for tie/no-result, 0 for loss. Top 4 qualify for playoffs. Qualifier 1 (1st vs 2nd), Eliminator (3rd vs 4th), Qualifier 2, and the Final. Impact Player substitution permitted once per team per match.
DRS available (1 review per team per innings). Maximum 4 overseas players per XI. Day matches start 3:30 PM IST, evening matches at 7:30 PM IST. Dew is a significant factor at coastal venues — teams winning the toss typically choose to bowl first.
